Last week, the electrical solutions training and inspection teams were exhibiting at the Elex Show, sponsored by the IET, at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Spanning over two days, on the 20th / 21st September, the team were able to speak to those in the industry about electrical training and the wide range of courses on offer, plus the array of inspection and testing services available. As a bonus, there was also the opportunity to win a free 18th edition wiring regulations course worth between £225 and £420, simply by entering their details into the giant iTab on display.

Over 90 people in the trade entered the competition, and we are pleased to announce the winner as Jonathan Hemsley from Adam Hemsley Electrical.

Mr Hemsley will now get the choice of two 18th edition courses, selecting either the 3-day full course or the 1-day update course depending on his level of experience. The 1-day course is purely an overview of the new amendments and is recommended for those who hold the latest wiring regulations qualification, whereas the 3-day course goes into much more detail around the regs. Once decided, the winner can then choose a course date and venue to suit his requirements.

Lynsey Partlow, Compliance and Training Manager said: “The Elex Show was a fantastic opportunity for us to promote our services to both large and smaller enterprises in the trade and explain more about the 18th edition training we have available. Congratulations to Jonathan who won the competition, we hope he enjoys his course with us and we wish him luck in the exam.”
