Celebrate your success and share your achievements with a City & Guilds digital credential, a new way to showcase your knowledge and skills online.
From 18th April 2022, delegates attending a City & Guilds course with us will automatically be issued their digital credential upon successful completion of their course (where a valid learner email address has been provided).
What is a digital credential?
Digital credentials are visual, data-rich representations of knowledge and skills developed through a particular learning programme and fully verified by City & Guilds. It determines that an individual has achieved specific learning outcomes to a given standard and is provided in addition to a certificate. It allows you to showcase your achievements online, for example, on your website, an email signature or on social media.
What data is included in the digital credential?
Your digital credential badge will contain data specific to you, including:
- badge name
- badge URL (description)
- badge image
- issuer
- issue date
- alignment
- expiry date
- evidence URL
What are the benefits of a digital credential?
Digital credentials provide verifiable information about your skills and achievements at the click of a button. This means you can show your organisation detailed information about your qualification, training, and standards. Sharing your digital credential online will also give you the opportunity to build brand awareness. Delegates attending a City & Guilds electrical course with us from 18th April will receive their digital credential on successful completion of the course (providing they have given us an email address at time of examination registration).
